“Shelly”, Jason & Jordan,
All my thoughts, prayers, and LOVE go out to you. Simpy lives on… his humour, wit, INAPPROPRIATENESS (that we all love), and his internal gentle nature will be with you, and all of us for years to come.
One thing that I loved about Simp is that he never left a person unnoticed. Even if it was months inbetween from not having seen him, he always made a big deal about my presence and found a way to make me feel special for being there. (Even if it was him testing the waters with me, seeing how much he could dish out…especially in front of my boyfriend). That’s what I really loved and admired about him. He had a light-hearted nature to him, knew how to make us all laugh, but was so tender and loving on the inside.
The last time I spoke with him since I saw him in person this summer was on facebook. I had posted a status saying “I’m officially an idiot. I’m sick as a dog and running a 10km race today”. All my friends were posting things like “good luck”, and “you can do it”….and the last comment I received, in pure Simpy fashion stated “I always knew you were an idiot”.
Gotta love him.
It was a pleasure growing up with Ron and your family.
Lots of love to you all!
Love, Tracey Lightfoot

You will be missed, but never forgotten, you will always be in our hearts. This world was a better place because you were here! You are now in a new season of your life, where there is no sorrow, no pain, and you get to see your loved ones who have gone on before you. Until we meet again, so long for now…
God bless you Sherrie, Jordan, and Jason…May Jesus, our Lord and Saviour, comfort you and continue to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory ….
Love as always, Aunt Kathy Simpson…

Dear Sherrie. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I only found out about Ron’s passing yesterday while I was talking to my sister. While my memories of Ron are rather old – it was rather strange to see myself in one of the photos – I do remember many post- baseball game celebrations being held in Ron’s dad’s garage! His infectious smile will be sorely missed by everyone!

Dearest Sherrie, Jason and Jordan …
All I can think of is the laughter and love Ron left behind for everyone to enjoy … it will be a difficult road ahead, but in time, those fabulous memories you have of dear Ron will be what comforts you.
Those things that annoyed you the most over the years :) will be what you find most endearing when you think of him now.
You were so blessed to have such a great man in your lives (even for a short time) … feel blessed and know that he will be by your side every step of the way in YOUR journey of life … you will never be alone.
God Bless and Memory Eternal

My memories of Ron were from playing ball and hanging out at the arena watching hockey. He always had a quick dry wit about him when he spoke. He always made me smile when I saw him.
I’ll miss that. My sympathies go to the whole family.
Peace I leave unto you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Dear Sherrie and sons, Please accept my deepest sympathy at the sudden loss of your husband, Ron. After all the years of working with Ron he could still catch me out when I would come into the shop to give him a bawling out for something and he would be standing there with that silly grin on his face. Then you would realize that, “You got me again, Simpson!” and he would take off before we started a wrestling match. He will be sorely missed. George Mark, Maple Ridge, BC.
