Agnes Grace Russell (née Scott) passed away at Seaforth Community Hospital on Sunday, December 29, 2019, at the age of 99. Agnes was a quiet, gentle lady who lived her life by sharing ways of love and kindness among her family and friends. Her smile was radiant and her warm, welcoming demeanour was a blessing to all who knew her.
Agnes will be lovingly remembered by her brother Don Scott, sister-in-law Florence Russell, sister-in-law Shirley Russell and a large loving circle of nieces and nephews.
Agnes is predeceased by her husband Wesley (2010), their daughter Margaret McClymont (2003), son Murray Russell (1947), son-in-law Ivan McClymont (2016), her parents Russell and Grace (née McKellar) Scott, siblings and siblings-in-law Marion and John Wallace, Margaret and Frank Cadick, Nola Scott, Clarence Russell, Kaye and Ken McLeod, Wilhelmina and Robert Campbell, Marion and Frank Miller, Lawrence Russell and Roy Russell.
Arrangements are entrusted to Haskett Funeral Home, Seaforth. Honouring Agnes’ wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 59 Goderich Street West, Seaforth on Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 10- 10:45 a.m. followed by a memorial service commencing at 11 a.m. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall. Interment will take place in Roy’s Cemetery at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation or the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
