Softly, with her family by her side, on the farm they built together, on April 11, 2020, Nancy was finally reunited with the love of her life Keith (2006). Nancy is survived by her 2 sons Bob (Andrea) & Steven Lyle (Cathy). She was always very proud of her granddaughters Alexis (Cory) & Dana (Wes). Remaining in the hearts of her brothers Don (Karen) & Cedric (Patti). She is survived by many nieces, nephews & cousins. She will also be missed by her long-time friend Janet & her “Theatre Ladies”. Special thank you to Dr Craig & his team at the Ilderton Medical Centre for the care they provided in her final weeks.
A private family service will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, LUCAN on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at 11 AM. Although the service is private, please join the family from the comfort of your home, by streaming the service live by visiting www.facebook.com/haskettfh/ (No account is required). Interment Littlewood Cemetery, Middlesex Centre.
Donations to the Head and Neck Above Cancer Research or the Woman’s Rural Resource Centre in Strathroy would be appreciated by the family.

So very sorry to read of Nancy’s passing. We had many conversations and shared life stories while she waited for her vehicle to be serviced at Eric Campbell’s. She was very compassionate and understanding. We spoke of quilting, families, travel, health and our shared respect and admiration for her surgeon and my husband’s as well, Dr. Nichols. I will definitely miss her smile and positive attitude towards life and all that it entails. Extending my deepest sympathy on the loss of a wonderful lady.

My sincerest condolences to all of the Scarborough family…Nancy was certainly a very special person to many of us..we will miss her kindness, her friendship and her own private “cheery” mannerism. Many many miles and hours were spent together making memories and when a tour was completed she always said “never say goodbye, just farewell”. So now Nancy …Happy Trails to You!

Lyle, Bob and families. A few memories that stand out are Aunt Nancy always cutting her large front lawn with the push lawnmower, her raking acres of hay with the 2 wheel rake, her understanding the signals when Uncle Keith and Dad were on the hayrack. We very much enjoyed our ride with her to Brianne’s wedding a few years ago when she talked about her and Uncle Keith’s life from early to later years. Every time I use the correlle dishes I will think of her. She will be missed immensely.
