Roberta passed away peacefully at Jessica’s House, Exeter on Monday, June 13, 2022 of Hensall in her 87th year. She was born in Aberdeen, Scotland on May 6, 1936. Predeceased by her husband of 55 years Robert Shepherd (2021). She is survived by hers sons Stuart (Madeline) Shepherd of Zurich, and Michael Shepherd of Hensall. Grandmother of Michael, Alicia; Jordan, Bryndon and Kieran and step-grandmother of Kevin (Karen), Jason (Patti-Anne), and step great-grandmother of Alyssa (Josh), James, Daniel and Brandon. Also survived by sister Mary Elizabeth (Reginald) Blagden of the UK. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son Stephen Shepherd (2015), mother Jessie Cabel, and brother Andrew Williams.
Special thank you to nurse Charlene Foxton, Dr. Michael Hammond, Tracy, and the wonderful staff and volunteers at Jessica’s House for the care and compassion shown to Roberta during her time there.
Cremation has taken place. Haskett Funeral Home, ZURICH entrusted with arrangements. Donations to Jessica’s House would be appreciated by the family.
