At Huronview Home for the Aged, after a short battle with cancer, on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 of Exeter in her 86th year. Loved wife for 65 years of Woodrow (Woody) Davidson. Loving mother of Ken and Sandi Davidson of Grand Bend and Craig and Carol Davidson of Exeter. Loving grandmother of Scot Davidson and his friend Teresa, Laura and Jodi Craig, Matthew Davidson and his friend Carley, Karl Davidson, Karla and Matt Simpson and 5 great-grandchildren: Corey, Victoria, Maryn, Hayden and Declan. Survived by her sister-in-law Dorothy Wolfe of Melbourne. Predeceased by an infant grandson Mark Warren, her parents Doris and Lawrence Babcock, brothers Lyle and Clint Babcock and sister MaryNarine Fraser. Shirley was a long-time resident of Exeter. She enjoyed music and was a member of the Jazz Club in Florida and London. Many thanks to the staff at Huronview for their care of Shirley and their compassion to our family.
There will be no funeral home visitation. A private, family graveside service will be held at Exeter Cemetery. Cremation has taken place.
