He stood aside watching and waiting. He knew she fought long and hard, and when He saw she could not go on, He Silently took her hand and said “its time”.

Janice, Nancy, Larry and families,
We were deeply saddened to hear of Doris’ passing. Doris and Ervin were like second parents to us. We laughed, cried, sang at the campfires together. They welcomed us to the trailer park back in 1991 and we have been close friends since. We have fond memories of them both. Gord has missed Ervin alot. With the virus have been unable to visit with her, but I have kept in touch with phone calls, laughter was always apart of our conversation. The last phone call she had just had her bath and she told me she had the essentials covered. Doris always enjoyed going out for a drive and visiting the trailer park to see who was still there. In the fall we stopped and had tea with Jean Glazier. Memories that will last a lifetime. Our prayers and blessing are with you all as you move forward knowing that Doris and Ervin are together once again. Our condolences to you all, Thank you Larry for all you went through to find us to let us know of Doris’ passing.

Janice, Nancy and Larry:
I was so sorry to hear that your Mother has passed. I grew up on the farm next door to where your Dad was raised and although a little girl at the time, I remember your parent’s wedding day. Their car was stored in our shed for safe keeping, but somehow it was decorated with Limburger cheese in the heater. My Dad always felt badly that he was unable to protect the car for the newlyweds. Your Mom was the first person to officially welcome us when we moved to Exeter. She will be missed.

We convey our sincere sympathy in the loss of a dear lady. Doris was always making time to stop to have a few words when we met, as was Ervin in his day. They were a great couple and you and others will miss them in days to come.
