Peacefully at the Exeter Villa on Thursday, October 17, 2019 of Exeter at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Donn Sims (1996). Cherished mom of Carole Hockey (Dennis), Barb Sims (Doug), Colin Sims, and the late Scott Sims. Loved Nan of Cheryl (Rajan); Brenda, Steven (Nicole), Brian (Stacey); Tammy, Chris (Kayla). Adored great-Nan of 11 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Betty Francoeur.
Mary was a fun-loving lady, who enjoyed every minute she spent with her family. Mary, Donn and the kids were always on the move being a family in the Air Force and therefore never having her own home until retirement. Her easy-going spirit proved her to be a real trooper, always picking up and moving every 2 – 3 years with the Forces.
Respecting Mary’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at the Exeter Cemetery.
