Rick and family,
We were devastated to hear of Karen’s passing. We had not been aware that she was ill again, and it wasn’t til we read the Times Advocate today that we found out that she had lost her battle. Our thoughts are with you at this time, and we will always remember the fun times we had on Gidley St. Karen always presented us with the first rose that bloomed in your backyard – she was a wonderful person, and you have our sincere condolences.

Lean on Him as you travel through the valley of death, He knows the way through because He travelled there when His son died. Karen was life and joy, she lived fully. She will be held in our hearts forever. There is a time to cry, there is time to laugh, there is a time to be angry, there is a time to be accept the horrors of this journey. You are not alone!

I was Kendra’s teacher in Grade 2 quite a few years ago. I remember how caring and concerned Karen was as a mom. She was thoughtful, kind and always willing to do what ever was necessary to help out not only her child, but the other children in the class too. We were blessed to have known her. God’s blessings to each of you.

Our deepest sympathy Rick & Family. Thank you for sharing the treasured photo’s on line. The memories are greatly appreciated. Doris emailed today, to tell us, of your loss. It came as a surprise. Far too young and beautiful a woman to go. Cancer cheats the family of so many treasured moments to come. Being recently through it, with family, we know that it is good that you have your children and friends around you to all share stories of the treasured moments in time that will help you through this. Treasure your memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Sincere sympathy, Tom, Annette & Children
