Dear Heather, Heidi & Dawn Growing up in the 1970’s in Harpurhey was a blast. My brother Worm(Steve) & myself would start our day with one question? ….what are the Chesney brothers doing today? We spent endless days together playing in our sand boxes, biking around Seaforth & swimming at the Lions Park. In the early 80’s, I worked with Steve at Leo’s Autos Sales pumping gas & washing muscle cars. Steve was so funny keeping us entertained with his jokes & crazy antics. I’ve been fortunate to know Steve. My sincere condolences.

Dear Al: I am so sorry to read of Stephen’s passing. You boys were my favourites to babysit. Stephen always said the funniest things. His personality was so much like your Mom. You both were good friends to my brother, Dave, and were always taking things apart to see how they worked, building something, playing street or basement hockey, or just being mischievous. I know he has been reunited with your Mom and Dad now. Please know you and Stephen’s family are all in my thoughts at this difficult time. Nancy (Kunder) Malachowski.

My best memories of Steve were his uncanny ability to tell jokes. Always funny, always full of life. And let me say, as a youngster when he washed my car, it was one of the best! I think he just liked to drive the car from Mac&&single&&s Milk to the shop…..ya, he would have been under age at the time! He was simply always willing to help, always caring about others. Gone far to soon. We can cherish our memories of Stephen, they will last forever. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
