Aunt Syd was one of the most loving human beings I’ve ever known. I have such fond memories of our time with both her and Uncle Bill and of course you boys, Tom, Daryl and Rob. We lived in the same house for a time and never tired of one another. It saddens me to know she is gone – even though I know she is in a better place. Some people just deserve to live forever and she was one of them. So sorry that I wasn’t able to make it to her funeral but know that I am sending hugs to all of you. Love Tammy

I had the priviledge of working with Sydney for many years when I was nursing at the Exeter Villa. I am so saddened to hear of Sydney’s passing and the loss that your family has to go through. I’ll treasure the warm memories of a woman, that carried in her everyday life, a deep sense of faith and the endless kindness that I witnessed over and over again when she worked with residents there. She truly had a purpose in her life and I’m grateful to have crossed paths with her. My deepest sympathy, Arlene Berendsen

Our heartfelt sympathies to you in the passing away of your Mother. At a time that our family needed a “Grandmother” and “Mom”, Sydney came into our lives and blessed us with her caring personality.
We sure will miss her smile that lit up her face and her wonderful laugh.
Our prayer is for the Lord to carry you gently through this time of grieving the loss of your Mom.

Mom was a wonderful person, caring, loving, and always giving. It was her nature to do these things, as I believe God had meant her to be. I will miss her greatly, too, as will anyone whom really knew her will as well. My Brothers, Rob and Daryl, and their families thank you for all the kind words of condolence and encouragement. We will grieve in our own ways, those of us who knew Mom, family, extended family, and the many other friends she made along the journey of life. But, let’s not forget, that she is in a much better place, looking down on us all as we go on our day to day chores; watching over us, just waiting for the right time to greet us in heaven. Thank-you!

We were so sadden to hear about the passing of Sydney. We did enjoy getting to know her over the past few years. We loved going to see her as she visited Rob and Becky in Michigan. She knitted lovely dollies and was always a delight to talk with, she will surely be missed by all her knew her. The faith that Sydney had, has taken her to be in the loving arms of Jesus and she has the best new body she could ask for. I know heaven is celebrating at her entrance.
Sincerely
