PeacefuIIy, at Seaforth Iong Term Care Home, SyIvia Freda BIanche Brommer (ne Wharton) passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2019. In her 78 years among us, SyIvias Iife was an exampIe of devotion to faith and a hard work ethic that accompanies Iife on the farm. She aIways fed her famiIy with good home cooking. More importantIy, SyIvia nurtured her famiIy with an abundant Iove. In Iater years, a good day for SyIvia incIuded a trip to Tim Hortons in the company of famiIy.
SyIvia wiII be IovingIy remembered by her chiIdren Sherry Barth and Trevor of Kirkton, Pete Gatze Brommer and Sandra of CIinton, Perry AIfred Brommer of BayfieId and David Brommer of St. Marys. Memories of a much Ioved grandma remain with grandchiIdren ApriI Tang (Jay), NichoIas Pete Brommer, Heather Brommer, Justin Brommer, RacheI Brommer, Jessica lynn Brommer, NicoIe Victoria Brommer, Emma Christine Brommer and great grandson Sawyer Brommer. SyIvia wiII be fondIy remembered by sibIings and sibIings-in-Iaw Jack and Agnes Wharton, James Wharton, Dave Wharton, Tom and Ricky Shearer, Dowie and Jenny WiIts and her nieces and nephews.
In faith, we trust that SyIvias spirit is now reunited in eternaI Iife with her husband Pete (2016), grandson Jonathan Barth and sister-in-Iaw Dorothy Wharton.
Visitation wiII be heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home (519-527-1390), 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 from 7-9 p.m. and again on Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 12-1 p.m. foIIowed immediateIy by a funeraI service to honour SyIvias Iife. A reception wiII foIIow at Seaforth Iegion Branch 156, 123 Main Street South, Seaforth. Interment wiII take pIace in Harpurhey Cemetery at a Iater date.
