Peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, April 24, 2012, in Clinton Public Hospital, William Harvey Taylor formerly of Varna, passed away in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of the late Helen (Erratt) Taylor (2007). Sadly missed by his dear friend Marlene Smith of Seaforth. Dear father of Joyce and Bill Boussey of London, Lynn Proctor and Bill Crawford of Clinton, Donna and Brian Glanville of Seaforth, Cathy and Rod Paterson of Clinton and Mark Taylor of Zurich. Loving Pops of 10 grandchildren Clayton Boussey, Riley Boussey and Allana Dziarski and Collette Boussey and Tyler Lemkay, Tim Proctor and Emma and Jake Proctor and Rebecca Weatherstone, Marc and Shannon Glanville, Tanner Glanville and Stacey Smith, Dan Paterson, Chad Paterson and Jackie Corriveau and Marsha Taylor. Dear great-grandfather of Lucas and Nicolas Glanville. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Cora MacFarlan, Donna Corbett and Glen Deitz, Barbara Preston, Mary Lou and John Driscoll, Doug and Eunice Taylor, Connie Taylor, Ross Brown and Judy. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Harvey and Ruth Taylor, sisters June (Joe) Potter, Ina Brown, brothers Jack (Myrtle) Taylor, Morris Taylor, Keith Taylor, brothers-in-law Ross Corbett, Jim MacFarlan and Fred Preston, son-in-law Clare Proctor and sister-in-law Doris Erratt. Bill spent most of his working life employed by Stanley Township and was Road Superintendant for 44 years. He was an active member of the Brucefield Lodge IOOF # 210 since 1951.
Visitation in the J. M. McBeath Funeral Home, 49 Goshen St. N, Zurich on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 11 a.m. Brucefield United Church, Brucefield, Ont Mr Colin Snyder and Elly Dow officiating. Interment Baird’s Cemetery.
