Our condolences to the Theander family. Many years ago my sister and I worked for Irene and Hugo and I recall Doug and his family visiting. He was always pleasant and possessed a great smile. After viewing the pictures, I see a strong resemblance to his late Mother (Irene). She was such a hardworking, kind and generous lady. After reading the tributes to Doug, it seems he possessed these strengths as well and left his mark on his friends and former clients.
May your many memories strengthen and comfort each of you in the days ahead.

My condolences to Dougs family. I knew Doug through the company I worked for over twenty five years. He was a sales rep who always had a friendly smile and always took the time to say hello to the sales staff whenever he visited our store.

Doug, you will be greatly missed. I was thinking that it must be 40 years ago or more, when I first met you. You have worked with our team, representing various furniture manufacturers over those many years, and you truly became one of our Stoney Creek Furniture family. I will miss our annual golf game, guys weekend at Dennis’ and your genuine interest, when you regularly inquired about how my son was doing. Great memories.
Our sincere condolences to the family.
Your friends at SCF.

My condolences to Doug’s family. He was very much responsible for my introduction to the furniture business first with Pepplers later Sklar /Peppler than introducing me to Ron and Gord of Pattons Place. He also played a mean third base in his younger years.
Rest in Peace Doug

My sympathy to all Dougs family, l never knew Doug as much as l knew Ingrid and Paul, but it’s been a very long time since l have seen either of them.
When l saw the Theander name, l knew of Doug.
Dougs Mom and my father Maurice Mac Donald grew up across the road from one another, many, many years ago now. Knew Irene and Hugo’s when they lived in Lucan.
I can see his Mom and Dad in him when l look at the pictures
My sympathy to you all.

Doug, I have never seen Carole as happy as when she was with you. Thankyou for making my “Big” sister laugh. We are sorry you did not make it back to Arizona one more time so we could check out Monument Valley and some of the other places we missed last time you were here. Meanwhile, hit a couple of hole-in-ones for us, just because you can.
Also, our sincerest condolences go out to your family who must have many wonderful memories to remember you by. You were a really good guy and made everyone around you feel special. You will be sorely missed.
