You are in our prayers. We have fond memories of you all.
Jerry & Mary De Boer
Our deepest sympathies with the passing of Ken. Getting acquainted with him first through business, and then both of you as a couple as we rented your Florida home, we have been blessed through your Christian witness. And then in more recent years, we had opportunity to enjoy evening competitions by bowling on the Exeter greens.
Ken’s health struggles and challenges have been long and frequent, but that burden is now over. He now walks in the glories of his new life, and forever in the presence of his Lord and Savior. Kathryn, the coming days will no doubt be filled with grief and loss, but hold fast to your precious Lord. Trust and rely on His comfort and grace for each passing day. Even in times of trouble, He has promised to supply sufficient grace for EACH day!
Blessings; Jerry & Mary

Dear Kathy and all the Triebner families,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. We have known Ken for such a long time, through the church and in business ,He was always kind and very reliable (we really needed him a lot) , especially when we became “weekend warriors” to do what is supposed to be “just a new plug in the kitchen”(on a Sunday aft)and all the breakers go off…but Ken was there in no time with a smile and fix it ASAP. then he laughed and said that we had only interrupted his “strong afternoon tea with his Aunt”…then we had to keep reminding him that he had to give us a bill.. Thanks Ken! You will always be remembered.
.See you on the other side

Dear Kathy and the Triebner family.
May the Lord comforting arms wrap around your family at this difficult time and may God’s perfect peace sustain you. When I was looking at the pictures it was evident that Ken truly loved his family and I’m praying that the memories of the good times will remain with you. He was certainly a man of faith and strong Christian character. He is rejoicing with the angels now in the presence of His Lord and Saviour. Our hearts are saddened but he is rejoicing.

Kathy and family,
You’s were so blessed to have had such a good husband & father. Ken was a terrific citizen, tradesman, and above all, a ‘man-after-God’s-own-heart’. Cathy and I will always remember Ken as a warm engaging man, with that classic Triebner sense of humor. He always gave a 100% on all fronts. And though he would engage with you on any given topic-of-the-day, conversations with Ken would always gravitate back to things of the LORD. On Tuesday, it only seems fitting that our loss was Heaven’s gain. Exeter is a better place for having had Ken in our midst. We’re confident he’s rejoicing in the presence of God.
Sincerely
Brad

As an uncle he was a rock of faith, a leader within the family, unwavering. He has been a constant presence my whole life, and in the lives of so many people in Exeter. Who has not seen that Triebner Electric truck around town…. every day.
He had a ridiculous laugh, that even now i can hear. He was a silly uncle who made us laugh; he was deeply loved. He would not want us to be too sad for too long. … and i thought to myself “what would he have liked to see happen now?” … I think he’d want us, with our families,… go to church, and to be truely present there. Almost half the memories i have of him are at church, church suppers, picnics….
We are so thankful to have had him in our lives.

Sad to learn of my cousin’s passing. I will always remember the fun we had when we were little at the farm. Ken was kind to my parents, Norma & Gord, especially to my mother following the death of my father.
I am so thankful that God gives us memories to help us in our loss.
Larry Prouty
I remember Ken with a great deal of fondness. As young children growing up together, attending Hay Township Public School, and being raised on our subsequent family farms, we had a lot in common. Why he was just a short pony ride away, and would often come to visit me. From ponies, we graduated to horse-power, and driving motorcycles together.
I often find it strange how the carefree days of youth so quickly passed us by. As we grew into adulthood, we gradually drifted apart. I would sometimes meet up with Ken, when I came to the Exeter area to visit my folks. These meetings were often by chance, whether at Church, or just driving through town, and I would see his truck parked on Main Street, and stop to say hello.
More recently I called Ken for help in resolving electrical issues at my parents’ mobile home. Ken was always quick to respond, and it was always a joy to talk to him again. Our conversation often went to talking about his wife, Cathy, whom he deeply loved, to his children, Darlene, and Diane, and also to his Grandchildren. We often spoke of the value of our Christian heritage, and it was always with a laugh, and “I’ll likely see you next time you are in town” that we would say, “So Long.”
Ken, I know that you are safe in the arms of our precious Savior, but it is with great sadness that I realize that I will have to postpone our meetings by coincidence. Someday though, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that we will meet again!
