Hello family, sure wish I could be with you today, to spend time reminiscing crying and telling uncle Bill stories. You had an awesome dad, he was a nice mix between grandpa and grandma and yet his own personality and we all loved spending time with him. Whether we went to Canada or you guys came to the States it was always a celebrated reunion loaded with laughs and more treasured memories. Your dad was an intelligent man and could talk shop with anybody and yet at the drop of a hat would let his hair down, what little he may have had at the time, and kicked up his heels to play. He always spoke fondly of those that had traveled before him and we certainly will speak fondly of him. Again I wish I could physically be there to express my sympathy and concern for each and everyone of you.
Love you all!

Bill was a great friend to my parents. I’m so sorry to hear of his passing. Thank you for posting your photos. A couple of them show Bill and my dad, Evan, when they were “young bucks”, as my dad would say. That was long ago, but their friendship endured for a lifetime. May you find peace and strength during this difficult time.

My thoughts are with all of you. I was very sad to hear about the loss of Uncle Bill. He was such a kind person. I always remember our Christmas dinners with him in mind because I swear he would pick the biggest turkey from work to give Grandma. We had a lot of mouths to feed when everyone was there for dinner. Definitely fond memories. He is going to be missed!
