Dear Audrey and Family,
I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your sister Barbara. I did not know Barbara but from all the condolences I have been reading and your telling us about her, that she was as beautiful outside as she was on the inside and a wonderful Mom. Extend our condolences to her children and I am sure she is in a better place, in GOD’S arms. Love, Theo

Barb’s sister, Kevin, Kristen and Kara and families:
After reading the other messages, we are all of the same thought for Barb , your sister and your Mom. As a farm neighbourwhen our daughter, Lisa, and you girls played together… I cannot add anything more that hasn’t been said. I thought she was as beautiful inside as she was outside. So few lovely looking and gracious people really have the same geniune personality inside. ..but your MOM DID.
Love and hugs from June Johns and Lisa Haines

As I grew up in Lucan, I have known and admired Barb all my life. She was so pretty, and always very considerate
and so very pleasant to everyone she knew. Your photos are so nice to have and to hold on to. May time heal your sorrow, and may your friends ease your pain and peace eventually replace your heartaches.

Who can understand the heart of one like our Barb? Never, ever negative. Whenever I hesitate to be friendly, some kind of Godly conviction comes upon me and says, “Just put on Barb!” And suddenly my smile is genuine, the pitch of my voice reflects that warm country Ontario hospitality, and I feel my eyes sparkle. Just like that, Barbie comes out of me. Her humble and bubbly influence has prodded my character my whole life. And,OH! How we loved her, because she oozed animated love. And beauty, inside and out. As a little girl, Barb took my breath away. This is who I want to be like when I grow up! Who can imagine the far reaching legacy of this SWEET woman on her children and grands? What a blessing! Dear Kristen, Kara and Kevin, and Audrey and Missy. I am so sorry for these last years of missing her. Your faithful care defines honor. You did well. God bless you.

Audrey, Kristin, Kara and Kevin, Missy and families, our thoughts and love are with you. Audrey and Barb were my idols and my mentors as I was growing up. They were beautiful, fun and always had time for a pesky younger cousin! Audrey, you still fill that roll. I will remember Barb’s beautiful smile, her love of life and her amazing skills in mothering three kids into smart, successful and loving adults. What a wonderful legacy she has left in her children and grandchildren. Barb, you will always be remembered with love in our hearts and smiles on our faces. Farewell dear lady. Love Cathy and Bill

Dear Kristen, Kara and Kevin,:
So sorry to hear of Barb’s passing- I look at this picture, and it brings back so many floods of memories I can still see Barb coming into our house in Toronto when I was a little girl, and I remember thinking- she is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen !!! I am not religious, but I think Barb is up there somewhere with my mom, a scotch in one hand, a cigarette in the other, in their bright red and pink high heels (which I also remember- my mom and your mom went out and bough these bright shiny high heeled shoes-mom’s were bright red and Barb’s were bright pink), having a great time talking about us all!!! She will be missed, but I will always smile when I remember her… and my memories will be of a beautiful, fun, loving woman, who told me once that the most important job in the whole world is being a MOM !! And she was a great one !!!!

So sorry Corby our loss Kara, her beauty lives on in you.

Kara, My sincere condolences on the passing of your mother. I only met her a couple of times but she was a gorgeous, sweet lady, as I recall. Even with her long Alzheimer’s trouble, by look of this picture, her inner beauty was able to still find it’s way through. Thinking of you, Josi
