Dearest Family to the North. We are deeply saddened to learn of Uncle Tom’s passing. I always so enjoyed my visits with him and all of you! Always a positive, supportive, and loving comment or action is one of the many things I remember about him. I recall visiting as a little kid and a real big snow storm hit, and I he gave me the credit because I “prayed for snow”. The drifts covered the front door nearly to the top! I enjoyed sharing a coffee, talking about life, and going golfing with him on a couple of occasions. He did truly enjoy his golf. Tom was an exceptional role model to us all, and a pillar of leadership and good will for his family and those that were fortunate enough to have known him. I miss him very much already. Mom and I send our Love and Prayers. Love Jim & Christina from South Carolina.

On behalf of my family and our members at Seaforth Golf Club please accept our sincere sympathy to all of Tammo’s family. Tammo was an inspiration to us all as he enjoyed every day on the golf course in spite of his physical challenges. He was always cheery and a good golfing pal for all. I have many fond memories of Tammo and was fortunate enough to play alongside Tammo and my brother, Todd in many Numbnuts events. However, the highlight for me was the day Tammo had a hole-in-one during our Spring Scramble and 132 golfers gave him a standing ovation! He enjoyed golf with his friends and his family, especially little Thomas. We will miss Tammo immensely and we will remember him here with great fondness.

My thoughts go out to Helen and to Tammo’s family. I considered Tammo a good friend and a great golfing companion. I had the privilege of sharing some of his last rounds of golf at Seaforth Golf Course with Tammo. His courage and love of life are memories that I will always treasure. He was an inspiration to me. He will be missed by many.
Michael and Barb Soldan
There was never a better neighbor than Tom since we moved here in 1972. Tammo was the best of the best,if he was out to get the mail and he saw my garage door up he would stop in and we always had a nice visit and many a laugh over something. If I stopped by he could find some spiced rum and gingerale! I know he loved golfing and I know how much he was loved by everyone at the Seaforth Golf Course, he had made many friends there and I know they were all saddened to hear of Tammo’s passing. Helen and girls and your families we are truly sorry for your loss, but I hope like me you will relish the memories of this great guy. I will miss his visits to my garage, his friendly wave when he drove by and I will cherish those times
