Dear Shelley and Family, although I never met your Mom, I feel like I have known her. Shelley would love to talk about her and your family whenever possible. Right now you have each other and your Mom’s spirit to guide you through this time. It doesn’t matter how old we are we are never ready for the passing of our parents. Your Mom’s eyes tell a lot about her character. Full of spunk and compassion. Ian, Hannah and I are thinking of you and sending lots of hugs your way. Love always.

Shelley, Jack, Lani, John, Tate and family,
Brent, the kids and I were so very sorry and saddened to hear of your Mom’s (and Grandma’s) passing on Sunday night. Shelley, from the stories you have shared, Berit sounded like a truly amazing woman who raised six truly amazing children that all grew to become strong, independent, successful and caring adults … what a gift she gave to you all. We are glad you are able to spend this time together, and the bond and memories you share will undoubtedly carry you through the times ahead. Always know we are here for you and that we hold you close in our thoughts and prayers. Take care and take time to reflect … see you soon.
