Peacefully at Blue Water Rest Home, Zurich with family by his side on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 formerly of Grand Bend and RR 2 Zurich, at the age of 90. Cherished husband and best friend of Catharine “Kay” (O’Brien) Webb for 70 years. Loving father of Linda and Bob Hendrick, Sandra Shaw and Rick Funston all of Zurich, Janet and Richard Regier of Canmore, Alberta, and the late Joanne Webb (1967). Proud Grampa of Jon and Melissa Hendrick, Andrea and Mark Watson, Leeanne and Nick VanSnick, Juliette Hendrick; Collin Shaw, Lindsay and Ben Hindmarsh; Laura and Craig MacLellan, and Ian and Melanie Regier. Adored great-grampa of 18. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Ray and Joan Webb of Dashwood, Eugene and Shirley O’Brien of Bayfield. Uncle Morris will be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by his many friends, former employees and clients. Predeceased by his parents Stewart and Maurine (Isaac) Webb, and brother Glenn and his wife Doreen Webb.
Morris was proud of living on the farm for over 30 years before moving to Grand Bend. He was well known for his talents, crafting fieldstone into various masterpieces. Dear Kay, Linda, Sandra, Janet and family,
I was so sorry to hear that Morris (Mort) had passed. He wasn’t one to be the loudest or most loquacious at our parents’ parties, but when he spoke, you knew it would be worth listening to. I truly enjoyed his dry sense of humour and his chuckle. No doubt, there will be many who are welcoming him; especially dear little Joanne. Sending my deepest sympathy and big hugs to all.
With love, Pam and family

Tammy Marie Denomme
God bless you Kay on the loss of Morris. Truly he was the loveliest man. He was so patient, quiet, and kind. He had a quiet smile and I found him something of a mystery because I noticed he wasn’t like the other farmers around–even though they were all good men too–Morris was more like a country gentleman and I didn’t know quite how to classify him. We could not have asked for better neighbours to our noisy brood. Both of you supported the 4 Durand kids like they were an extension of your own family. Bless you and your girls and lots of love.
Laura Overholt
Sending Sincere Condolence to the entire Webb family.
Jody Durand
We are all so very sad to hear this week at this news of my original “neighbour Dad” Morris Webb. The Durand kids Michelle Durand-Sereda, Tammy Denomme, Jamie and me) were always greeted with a smile when we ventured across the road to swim in their pool. Their were the sweetest neighbours and never said no to those 4 annoying farm kids who loved to swim! My parents rented their farm and started a long standing family tradition of working together to share the cost of a snowblower. Even though the Webb’s only had 10% of the laneways we had- as long we blew their snow out we split the snowblower 50/50. Their lovely daughter Sandra Shaw bought the home farm and I did the same with my parents farm and the tradition continued. The Webb family is a lovely, sweet and treasured part of our past and Morris you were the head of it all. God bless the Webb’s today – Kay Webb we are all thinking of you. To Linda Hendrick, Janet and Sandra – our hearts are heavy for you at this difficult time.
Stephanie

I have many memories of Morris (We Called him Mort) driving us somewhere to play hockey and then convincing him to stop so we could get a burger and a coke on the way home. Morris treated us well and enjoyed the banter in the car on the way to the games. Not only did Morris drive us to games , but he was on the Lion’s club that sponsored our teams and paid for the ice time. My condolences to his family
