Dear Mildred, Phyllis, Wilma and Sandra and families;
Please accept our very deepest sympathy, from Ray and I and from the rest of the Blair family. We thought the world of Lorne and Maxine and your family. You were wonderful neighbours (good babysitters!) and your dad was a wonderful hired hand on our farm for a few years. I remember a night he had to stay ove night at our house because the roads were blocked and he couldn’t get down the road. We had a picture of him and my dad, each sleeping at one end of the couch as they watched tv! I remember days when your grandfather and Lorne came to pick the whole mile and a quarter kids up from school in the old station wagon shell on the old flat bed cutter. We all sat in that cosy little shelter on benches and the horses pulled us home to safety. Your dad always had a wonderful smile and would always remember who we were and would ask about our families when we saw him. I know you will have wonderful memories of him and I know he will be missed. We were blessed to have him here for 96 years. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
