At South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Monday, July 29, 2019 of Dashwood, at the age of 69. Beloved husband of the late Ruth (Miller) Westlake (2015). Dear father of Jason Westlake of Lucan, Jeff Westlake (Tabatha) of Hensall, and Jennifer Westlake (Ian) of Dashwood. Dear grandfather of Jori and Lorissa; and Madison. Harold will be sadly missed by his siblings Grant Westlake, Mabel Glanville, Milo Westlake, Josephine Windsor, Rosemarie Dankewitz, Floyd Westlake, Linda Clipperton, Calvin Westlake and their families. He will be fondly remembered by the Millers. Predeceased by his brother Walter. Harold was an employee of Dashwood Industries for 50 years and was loved by his work family. When he wasn’t at work, he enjoyed his time in the garden, on the dance floor and with his family.
Visitation will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, Exeter on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM, where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 1 at 3 PM with Mr. Bob Heywood officiating. Family interment Exeter Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the South Huron Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
