Peacefully at Exeter Villa on Monday, December 6, 2004 William Allen Johns of Exeter and formerly of Usborne Township in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Blanche (Harrison) Johns for 63 years. Dear father of Shirley and Ross Rowe of London and Marilyn and Gary Eagleson of Chatham. Dear grandfather of Laura and Bryan Tucker, Andrew and Jody Eagleson and Sarah Eagleson and great-grandfather of Holly and Amy Tucker and Charlotte and Jonah Eagleson. Dear brother of Margaret Long of Listowel and Dorothy Ratcliffe of Exeter. Predeceased by a grandson Chris Rowe, brothers Garnet and Gilbert Johns and sisters Ethlene Fraser, Eilene Grinny and Hazel Johns. Friends may call at the Hopper Hockey Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 8th at 11 AM with Rev. Marilyn Carter officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery. Donations to the C.N.I.B., Thames Road/Elimville United Church or Exeter United Church would be appreciated by the family. There will be an Oddfellows service in the funeral home Tuesday evening at 6:30 PM under the auspices of Exeter Oddfellows.
